About the Role:
As the Head of Department - Curriculum, you will lead the school community in developing, articulating, and committing to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality teaching and learning outcomes for all students. Working collaboratively with the Deputy Principal, HOD Teaching & Learning, and Speech Language Pathologist, you will coordinate and source targeted professional development on literacy best practices.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Developing and overseeing a range of literacy resources and tools in consultation with the Leadership Team.
- Formulating policies, procedures, and best practices for implementing literacy initiatives.
- Collaborating with staff to identify literacy needs, aligning them with annual planning cycles and subject-specific requirements.
