About the Role
Head of Department - Curriculum, you will be responsible for leading the following activities and delivering key tasks:
- Lead curriculum areas or whole school program to develop and communicate a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand relevant legislation and policies that impact schooling, especially relating to students and staff within the school department.
- Effectively manage human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources to achieve goals.
