Alpha State School is a coeducational school that caters for students from prep to year ten and is located approximately 300 km east of Longreach and 187 km west of Emerald.
Our school caters for students in Prep to Year 10 and assists students in Year 11 and 12 doing Distance Education.

About the Role:
- Driving the school's strategic direction for school improvement, with a direct alignment to the school's Explicit Improvement Agenda.
- Provide systems leadership to lead self, others and within the community.
- Champion student achievement through the promotion of high yield research-based practices to support the performance measures under 'Equity and Excellence'.
- Foster a professional learning environment utilising data-based decision marking.
- Utilise instructional leadership to have line of sight into the impact of Alpha State School's AIP.
- Work alongside colleagues to support teaching staff to promote inclusive teaching practices to positively impact student learning.
