Are you a qualified Teacher with strong leadership experience and a genuine interest in Information Communication Technology? Xavier College is now in search of a Position of Responsibility (POR4) Head of Digital Learning.
As Head of Digital Learning you will lead, guide and promote innovative technologies for use in education across the College. The Head of Digital Learning will be the strategic link between College Systems, IT support, teaching staff, students and families using technology.
The position includes a teaching component and is to be read in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document. The Teaching role is a permanent, full-time role, based at the Gawler Belt campus. The Head of Digital Learning is a Position of Responsibility (POR4), with 4-year tenure and there may be requirement for this person to travel between the three campuses.
The opportunity is available for a visionary, creative and innovative individual with a growth mindset, that is accomplished within the Information Technology area. The role’s core focus is to promote suitable use of technology that creates engaging learning environments for students.

The successful candidate will have:
- Current Teachers Registration in South Australia
- Qualifications in Information Technology (highly desirable)
- Experience related to curriculum development incorporating the use of ICT
- Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans
- Very high level of independent research skills
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and parents
- Capacity to lead staff in adopting new practices
- High interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively listen and communicate with various educational stakeholders
- Strong organisational ability that demonstrates self-motivation and initiative while prioritising work and managing multiple projects
- High level of professional judgement, integrity, confidentiality and trust
