Collaborating with a highly regarded Chief People Officer (CPO) and leading a strong, capable team of qualified lawyers, this role will be critical for building positive stakeholder relations to enact meaningful change.
With your legal expertise and deep understanding of Employment Relations, you will redefine the engagement with unions, building a partnership that balances traditional values with an ambitious agenda for change and improvement.Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic workplace relations strategies, including negotiations, compliance projects, and policy development.
- Ensuring legal compliance across all aspects of employee relations, serving as the liaison with external legal counsel as required.
- Overseeing the management of complex disputes and grievances, guaranteeing effective case management and provision of legal advice.
- Spearheading innovative HR services approaches, contributing significantly to corporate-wide people strategies and policies.
- A highly experienced practitioner in Employment Relations, with legal qualifications and a current practicing certificate.
- A visionary with a proven track record of strong leadership, capable of fostering teams as well as relationships with unions to advance change agendas.
- Exceptionally skilled in stakeholder management and influencing, with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape in a large-scale, complex environment.
