The Role:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, your role will be broad and pivotal to the strategic direction of the Finance Department. You will be responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring effective controls, governance, and accurate reporting to support commercial decision-making. This key leadership role will see you working alongside the senior leadership team with responsibilities to include;
Responsibilities include;
- Leading all financial aspects of strategic plan, annual operational planning, and business forecast processes in the region
- Enhance/develop, implement, and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability
- Work with the leadership teams to develop appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the business
- Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications
- Overall responsibility for all financial reporting, budgeting & planning and internal control ensuring that financial data is being reported in conformance with international standards
- Manage treasury functions, Cash Management and Forex Hedging
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities & banking partners
- Lead, empower & develop a finance team of 5
The Candidate:
- You are CA/CPA qualified with experience in international reporting standards
- Strong technical accounting skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to influence individuals across all organisational levels
- You are a natural leader with a high degree of integrity
- Have the confidence and credibility to engage effectively with the leadership team both locally and globally
- $170,000 - $180,000 plus super and bonus
