The opportunity:
- Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with divisional General Managers, you will provide a robust financial control and reporting framework, and commercial insights and updates to the executive leadership team.
- You will manage a small team and be capable of being hands-on in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting & forecasting, and all statutory and compliance requirements.
- Ideally you will have the ability and flexibility to manage with outsourced IT, property, insurance, and other corporate services matters.
- This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and mentorship, allowing you to work closely with the General Managers and the CEO to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies.
- Expect to engage directly with the prestigious board.
- CA/CPA qualified with a proven track record in a hands-on finance leadership role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate financial insights clearly.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and autonomy in task management.
- Ideally, proficient with Xero
