- Hybrid Working Environment: 4 days in the office & 1 day from home

About the client:
A well-known fashion retailer, they have a large presence domestically, are growing in the US and are about to tip into European markets.
About the role:
Your role will be embedded in the senior leadership level, owning and managing the entire finance function and being involved at a strategic level.
Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing a small finance team
- Overseeing monthly reporting, tax and audit reporting
- Overseeing month-end and financial reporting
- Building from scratch the entire finance function, budget templates, reports, process, procedures, tools, etc.
- Working with the senior leadership team to allocate responsibility through budgets and forecasts
- Working heavily on setting costs / margins
- Working with senior leaders to provide valuable commercial and market analysis and insights to help drive the business forward
About you:
- CA / CPA qualified
- Extensive experience managing / leading a finance function
- Very strong technical accounting knowledge
- Retail experience (or similar) is desirable
- Located in Australia now with full working rights
