AddressThe Role:
As part of our finance and payroll team, you will be reporting into the Payroll Team Leader delivering the following key tasks:
- End to end payroll for a variety of timesheets for weekly / fortnightly wages
- Be exposed to a range of Awards and Agreements under which our clients operate
- Process new hires, promotions and terminations
- Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders enabling service delivery to consistently meet or exceed expectations
- Rostering and Workforce planning ability
- Regular reporting internally and externally
About You:
- You are a detailed and accurate person
- You are reliable, consistent and calm under pressure
- You can provide support to your team members
- You will offer ideas and suggestions for improvements if needed
Experience Required:
- At least 3 years of payroll experience with high degree of accuracy
- Understanding of payroll legislation and process
- Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation
- Must have clear and confident communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A sound understanding of Excel and working with payroll systems
- Experience with Time / Attendance and rostering software (Kronos is advantageous)
