The Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance leads the development and implementation of the risk, integrity, information and privacy, and compliance frameworks ensuring that risk is integrated into decision making and rigorously identified, managed and monitored. The role provides support and advice relating to governance, risk and compliance aspects of contracts while developing and implementing a compliance framework to ensure a culture of compliance is driven and embedded. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role brings innovation and forward thinking to BKI while supporting executive leadership in providing reports to the Board, its Committees, and the Executive on risk, compliance, feedback and audit matters.About you
You are a commercial risk management and governance professional ideally with experience in the education or for purpose sectors. A trusted advisor, your ability to drive and embed a best practice risk framework and robust internal quality control processes is complimented by your business acumen and lateral approach. Adopting a collaborative mindset and exercising commercial judgement, you build productive cross-functional relationships that facilitate informed business decisions and achieve organisational outcomes. You are proactive and have strong interpersonal skills to influence a diverse range of stakeholders in an environment with a multitude of regulatory compliance obligations.
