In this role you will be accountable for the clinical, financial, human resource, customer experience and operational performance for our Home Care business. This includes compliance with aged care quality standards and other legislation and supporting our services to achieve excellence in care and services for our clients.
We are looking for someone who will achieve success through servant leadership, deep listening, clear and decisive decision making, strategy implementation, stakeholder and customer engagement, open and clear communication, innovative thinking, and strong and inclusive leadership.
What will you bring to the role?
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Nursing, Health Management or related field, or experience deemed the equivalent by the organisation.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within the aged care or health sectors
- Extensive experience within the Home Care sector
- Demonstrated skills in strategic management and organisational change
- Previous experience leading, monitoring and driving operational performance
- Ability to critically analyse and suggest improvements to continuously develop performance
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of legislative and operating requirements within the aged care and Home Care sector, including Home Care and disability Accreditation Standards
- Previous experience effectively liaising with all corporate services such as Finance, Marketing and Human Resources
- Ability to travel and work at times from our community care sites within Queensland
- Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with elderly, families, staff and management
