Our North Queensland office is under new management and requires an experienced and dedicated Care Manager to oversee our commercial home care operation in the North Queensland region.
Role Overview
We are seeking to recruit a dedicated individual who strives for best practice, is able to communicate well with people of all backgrounds, and approach every situation with care and compassion. You will be responsible for the recruitment and training of care team members, scheduling and monitoring operational performance and ensuring that high-quality consumer-directed care is delivered to all clients in accordance with company policies and procedures and all other laws and relevant professional standards. The delivery of some nursing services may also be required.
This role is a full-time management position reporting to the Executive Management Team.

- Bachelor of Nursing with a current AHPRA registration;
- Driver's License and comprehensively insured dependable private vehicle;
- Current National Police Clearance; and
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Good understanding of the Government funding environment for aged care (primarily CDC) & NDIS (preferred but not necessary);
- Good understanding of the hospital discharge environment;

- It is also essential to have good judgment, quick decision-making, excellent communication, staff management and administrative skills.
