Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist with Pearl Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic care, tailored support, and necessary equipment to empower our aged clients to live independently in their homes.
This role is perfect for an individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct home-based evaluations, devise care plans, and generate functional capacity reports.
· Perform Occupational Therapy assessments in areas such as activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety.
· Assess home environments and prescribe aids, equipment, and modifications as needed.
· Collaborate with community teams and key stakeholders to monitor client progress and care.
· Demonstrate problem-solving skills with an innovative and holistic approach to health care.
· Work autonomously, effectively plan and prioritize workloads.
· Maintain well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a client-centered approach.
Requirements:
· Degree in Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA.
· First Aid Certificate with CPR.
· Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland.
· National Police Certificate.
· Current QLD driver's License
