How you'll make a difference:
The Infrastructure and M365 Services Unit plays a pivotal role in advancing technology, infrastructure, Microsoft Office 365 (M365) and reporting related platforms within the departments. The unit will maintain various business applications based Power BI reports, including the reports developed on non-strategic and legacy platforms (CRT, SSRS, Tableau), and will continue to provide support for new reports developed by the Project Delivery unit on the department's strategic platform, Power BI.
The Head ofInfrastructure and M365 Services Unit will play a critical role in driving technological advancement and ensuring the unit's smooth operation within the department through professional leadership and technical expertise. The role will implement best practises, focus on continuous improvement, and lead critical incident response and recovery. This role is expected to engage with key executive stakeholders in the sector, including the Department of Health, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and the Whole of Victorian Government.
Suitable applicants will possess:
- Experience working in a senior role providing strategic leadership in a complex and sensitive environment.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience managing large enterprise technology environments and platforms, with a large user base (circa 10,000 users).
