- As such we are on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Marketing to help us hit the market effectively.

The Role:
- The Head of Marketing will be responsible for an impactful and successful brand launch. They will work with the franchisor and a new marketing agency to create integrated marketing plans that all lead towards a best in class brand opening.
- This individual will be a strategic/creative thinker with a passion for excellent marketing execution. This is an exciting opportunity to define a brands entry to market and build brand understanding from ground zero with a new consumer in Australia (Sydney as it’s first site).
- The primary function of the Head of Marketing will be to design and implement marketing strategies. The individual should have a fluency across all facets of Marketing including Local Restaurant Marketing, Social Media, Content & Creative development, PR, crisis management, print management, data and analytics and campaign development. They should also have a strong understanding and passion for e-commerce.
- This individual must be an excellent communicator and comfortable liaising across large companies at all levels. They must thrive under pressure and have excellent problem-solving skills. must be comfortable working alone in the function initially. They will take accountability for all marketing efforts from the big things to the small things.
- We expect pacey growth from this market and expanding the team will
happen rapidly also. - It is really important that you are a fun individual with loads of energy who
can help live our “entrepreneurial mindset”. We want you to be able to
influence stakeholders at every angle with your passion and expertise for
marketing. We would strongly prefer a candidate with a restaurants background but will consider other relevant experience. We are seeking really local market expertise with this role and someone already in tune with the Sydney culture.
What you will do:
- Design and execute impactful brand opening working collaboratively with franchisor teams and agency partners.
- Build brand awareness, understanding and cut through. We want to
be bold and brave in how we present to the Australian consumer! - Use insight sources and competitor analysis to drive optimal brand
positioning for entering Australia for launch and for its
future growth. - Develop compelling creative telling our brand story predominantly
across digital channels. - Work across event management, PR, ESG and crisis comms to land the
brand entry in the most effective way possible. - Manage social media activation and paid digital via agency partners
(or in house if capability exists). - Brief digital screen content using data and analytics and make
optimisations to drive higher average ticket and transactions. - Drive profitable sales hitting all launch KPIs.
- Solve consumer problems in a profitable way – whether it’s menu
innovation, product renovation, or messaging optimization – you have
passion for keeping the consumer at the center of what you do. - Support strategy and lead execution of integrated, consumer driven,
holistic marketing plans that deliver on key performance objectives. - Work with external agencies on a daily basis to develop marketing
collateral to support product and marketing campaign activity. - Serve as steward of the brand equity and creative/visual identity
system, applying guidelines to all marketing material, providing
feedback and direction to stakeholders when needed. - Analyze program performance and business data to identify best
practices and learnings and translate findings into actionable plans.
