Radiology SA (RSA) is a long-standing, privately owned, Adelaide-based radiology practice, owned and operated by doctors for the medical community. With a long history in independent private radiology and public hospital contracts, the Practice currently has a significant footprint in the Adelaide metropolitan area, with both outpatient clinics and clinics within some of Adelaide’s busiest Private Hospitals, as well as supplying on-site radiology reporting services to Lyell McEwin, Port Pirie, Cairns and Darwin hospitals.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our executive leadership team as our inaugural Head of Operations. This role will be pivotal in directing and managing all operational activities, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy. Leading a diverse team consisting of administration, marketing, sonography, radiography, nuclear medicine, and nursing workgroups, this position focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, driving operational excellence, and delivering on our customer service vision and values.
The role will see you responsible for:
- Developing and implementing operational processes to enhance customer service and efficiency.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the operations team to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve organisational goals.
- Analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Overseeing resource allocation and budget management to optimise service delivery and organisational performance.
- Driving initiatives for process improvement, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the company's overall growth and success. You will also bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business Administration (or relevant similar area).
- Knowledge of and ability to implement and comply with relevant legislation, accreditation and compliance standards and requirements.
- Ability to communicate and manage relationships with external customers, service providers and contractors.
- Financial management/reporting and analysis skills.
- Previous experience or knowledge within the healthcare or radiology industry would be advantageous but not essential.
