The role involves selling, mentoring, learning, analysing and most of all, leading.
Here’s what is required- Doing: Building new automations inside Hubspot, Zapier and our own custom app
- Doing: Creating & enhancing step by step procedures for all areas of the business
- Doing: Building & scripting new training products in consultation with APB’s Head Coach
- Doing: Oversee all recruitment & HR operations
- Management: Running daily huddles with direct reports
- Management: Quality control for APB’s systems & processes
- Management: Coordinate output with input available, ensure nothing is overlooked
- Management: Updating & improving sales manual
- Leadership: Inspire team daily
- Leadership: Setting project targets & reporting to leadership
- Leadership: Interviewing & hiring new team members
- Leadership: Onboarding & training new team members
- Ownership: Complete responsibility for APB’s systems & reporting
- Ownership: Constant learning & upskilling to share new ideas with your team
Head of Operations at APB will be responsible for our current internal team, including a bookkeeper, administrator, product specialist and operations coordinator, our HR systems, product development including our custom application, overseeing event organisation and automation and coordination between company departments. It’s a combination of doing, managing & leading. This way you keep your finger on the pulse of the whole operation.
To be successful in this role you must have- 2+ years experience in leadership roles
- 5+ years of Operations experience
- REST APIs experience required
- NodeJS or Python experience required
- Xero experience preferred
- ClickUp experience preferred
- A love for numbers, data and facts

- Walk the talk. You must be building automations, reviewing app development schedules, building procedures as you create new ones and leading by example, no exceptions.

The Association of Professional Builders is a business coaching company for custom home builders. We provide on demand training and systems via our membership and have a private mentoring level where we work one on one with builders world-wide.
