We are the only operator in the region to offer our customers and partners unique experiences across four distinct business lines of Duty Free, Speciality, Food Services and Travel Essentials.
As the Head of People and Culture, you will be empowered to apply your strong operational and people knowledge whilst working with our CEO, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organisations human resources strategy.
Working in direct collaboration with our CEO & Executive Leadership Team, you will lead our human resource management strategy whilst establishing robust partnerships with the leadership team, ensuring the seamless navigation of all employment related matters and contributing to the overall day to day operational excellence to ensure the continued growth and success of our business.
People are our most important asset and you will be the one to lead the HR, Communication, Learning and Development & WHS team to ensure we continue to foster a happy and productive culture. Promoting our corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of your role as Head of People and Culture.
This is a constantly evolving, dynamic business where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your strong interpersonal skills, mentoring and supporting the leadership team and HR team to ensure legal compliance with all HR matters across Australia and New Zealand.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related qualification
- Solid knowledge and experience working within the retail/hospitality industry
- Solid knowledge of AU & NZ legislation, industrial relations and employment relations
- Strong leadership skills managing people dispersed across multiple locations
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to make sound decisions fostering performance.
- Strategic thinking to formulate and implement initiatives that impact business and people performance
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities that have achieved strong employee engagement levels
- Flexibility to be able to travel within AU & NZ if required
