In this role, you will drive our brand's product, pricing, and content strategy, ensuring we deliver unparalleled customer experiences. You will work closely with our Global Product and Cruise HQ to align our vision, objectives, and growth plans.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product and content strategy that reflects Cruiseabout's brand DNA and resonates with our target audience
- Stay aHead of market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritise customer and business needs and translate them into actionable plans
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they understand and support our brand's unique selling points and the luxury sector
- Lead and inspire the Cruiseabout's Product team, providing clear direction and fostering a culture of excellence
- Drive the successful implementation of our strategy, ensuring all stakeholders understand their role in delivering our objectives
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, making decisions that balance cost efficiency with increased sales and profitability
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, ensuring everyone is straightforward and understanding across all levels of the organisation
- Responsible for defining and executing the product strategy
- Identify customer needs, trends, and competitive landscape to develop a product that meets the needs of the target market and differentiates the product from competitors
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and sales to develop and launch the product
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Product to create a go-to market plan and identify the best channels to reach the target customers
- Track key metrics aligned to the overall business objectives, such as revenue, customer acquisition and retention, and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for product enhancements and update
Who you are:
- Ability to think strategically, identify industry trends, and develop clear short, medium, and long-term outcomes
- Persuasive and able to mobilise others to take action, reaching outcomes that gain acceptance from all parties
- Continuously develop a deep understanding of our products and destinations, seeking exclusive opportunities and keeping abreast of market trends
- Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Make authoritative decisions after considering various options and their potential impact
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement, understand key business drivers, and contribute to their success
- Degree qualification is desirable
- At least five years of experience in the travel industry
- At least three years of experience in a senior product or supply role
