Head of Product
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Product for iVolve will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mining and quarry technology solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining the product roadmap, translating customer needs into actionable insights, and facilitating seamless communication between various departments including engineering, sales, marketing, distribution, and technology partners. Your primary objective will be to drive product innovation and ensure our solutions meet the evolving demands of the mining and quarry industries.
The Role
Product Strategy and Roadmap
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with company goals and market trends.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform product strategy.
Customer Centricity
• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather insights and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
Product Launch and Go-to-market
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure effective product launches and go-to-market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Liaise with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee product development.
• Cultivate strong relationships with technology partners to drive product integrations and collaborations.
Training and Presentations
• Build comprehensive training programs for distribution partners and internal stakeholders on product features, benefits, and value propositions.
• Represent iVolve at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences, showcasing our latest innovations and thought leadership.
• Lead efforts in creating and maintaining thorough product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials.
Product Performance Analysis
• Monitor product performance metrics, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market share.
• Analyse data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the technology or mining industry.
• Strong understanding of Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) and Machine Guidance technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering successful product launches and driving product adoption.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for innovation.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
