As the Head of Quality and Compliance, you will play a strategic role in driving excellence, innovation, and compliance across our product lifecycle. Your leadership will ensure that our products consistently meet the highest standards of Quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The Head of Quality and Compliance is responsible for leading and overseeing the quality assurance and compliance functions within Temple & Webster. You will develop and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, and enhance profitability while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
The main responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to):
- Formulate and direct the strategic plans for corporate compliance and quality systems that align with Temple & Webster’s vision and operational goals.
- Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure all required submissions are accurate and timely.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and oversee the submission of periodic compliance reports and documentation required by law.
- Conduct high-level risk assessments and audits for quality control across product lines.
- Enhance product safety protocols and streamline compliance processes to handle evaluations, ratings, and approvals efficiently.
- Provide high-level guidance on legal conformity across all business units.
- Audit and revamp internal processes and control mechanisms to reduce risks and safeguard operational workflow.
- Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and initiatives to ensure product excellence throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Manage and mitigate operational risks associated with product compliance.
- Design, develop, and execute compliance training modules tailored for different departments to enhance understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Act as the primary compliance liaison between Temple & Webster and regulatory authorities, ensuring a smooth and transparent communication channel.
- Negotiate with stakeholders on compliance issues to reach favourable outcomes without compromising the company’s standards and regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with industry bodies, legal advisors, and government agencies.
- Organise quarterly reviews with key stakeholders to discuss compliance changes, challenges, opportunities for improvement and strategies.
