Role Purpose
Aesop are seeking a commercially minded and delivery focused Head of Retail Operations, ANZ to join our Retail team operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our office in Collingwood. Reporting directly into Country Manager, ANZ, you will demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all communication, reflecting company standards and take an active role in building and maintaining internal and commercial relationships, continually assess, analyse and improve all operational aspects of the ANZ business.

- Communicates function or Country plans and strategies in an engaging manner
- Assigns priorities and reinforces responsibility and addresses skill gaps

- Demonstrates respect and flexibility when forming and adjusting relationships to achieve broader goals, is willing to work across global boundaries
- Identifies and fills gaps in information required to understand issues and opportunities
- Organises information and data to identify major trends and problems, compares and combines information to understand underlying issues and predict future trends
- Gathers and leverages information to understand current and emerging client priorities, problems, expectations, and needs
- Uses understanding of client needs to build and create processes and procedures that will have an impact

What we are looking for
- An understanding of Aesop's unique culture and a passion for the brand
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in one of the following: Retail, Commerce, Business Administration or Law
- Strong Change Leadership and People Management Skills
- Previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic plans
- Experience in or exposure to commercial retail, store operations, store design and/or property functions
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience
- Ability to work in a matrix structure or experience in complex stakeholder arrangements
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading and mentoring people and building a successful team culture
