About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director (ANZ) this role will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the sales of a diverse range of solutions. The primary aim of this position is to enhance revenue, offer strategic guidance, oversee vendor associations, optimize channel sales, implement cross-selling tactics, nurture executive-level client relationships, spearhead digital transformation, and act as the brand advocate, ensuring the comprehensive success of the organization's portfolio.
In this role, you will:
- Generate revenue by strategically selling software and services and implementing sales strategies for ANZ.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, explore market expansion, and execute specialized cross-selling strategies to increase revenue and provide comprehensive solutions to existing clients.
- Develop plans to penetrate new markets while maintaining a strong presence in current ones.
- Establishing and maintaining robust vendor relationships and serving as the intermediary between the organization and its vendors.
- Engage with channel partners and collaborate with channel partners to refine sales strategies, utilizing the strengths of each party to optimize sales opportunities.
- Lead digital transformation efforts in the sales process.
- Optimize sales processes and workflows for operational efficiency.
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, cultivating a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Contribute insights into market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence for overall business strategy development.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
- Substantial experience in leadership positions within sales, preferably in the software or technology sector.
- Thorough understanding of the dynamics of the ANZ software market.
- Expertise in customer success strategies, encompassing onboarding, retention, and upselling.
- Demonstrated achievements in formulating and implementing sales strategies and navigating complex sales cycles.
