Head Of Security

One of our biggest clients & one of Australia's largest companies in their field are looking for a Head of Cyber Security Advisory with experience in architecture, IT/OT, team leadership of 2+ architects & helping a maturing environment with their cyber risk strategy!

Outside of the technical security requirements, they will need a strong stakeholder manager who can navigate a moderately mature risk environment, looking for compliance solutions that fit their current requirements right now and building the functionality for a long-term solution down the road.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing the IT Security Strategy Roadmap for the company.
• Lead a team of Architects to push the vision foward.
• Acting as the CISA, providing consulting services to the company's IT Leadership and governance committees.
• Advising design and project delivery teams on security requirements, risks, and mitigations.
• Ownership of project execution and the design of new or existing security solutions for the company.
• Proactively employing enhancements to meet the company's system & data security requirements, and smooth operations.
• Ensuring security integration in the company's regulatory obligations.
• Communicating business risk with technological risk for the company.
• Validating security controls for compliance and best practices for the company.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrable team leadership of high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in information security, architecture, and risk management.
• Expertise in cloud computing, cryptography, web & mobile applications, threat modelling, etc.
• Extensive knowledge in IT Security architecture and technologies in complex commercial environments.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Certifications such as SABSA, COBIT, CRISC.
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience in ICS security, Purdue Principles, SCADA/OT security is advantageous.
• Understanding of risk and security frameworks (ISO, NIST, ASD, PCI DSS, privacy).
