The Collarts Head of Student Administration will lead a portfolio of Student and academic administrative services that includes admissions, enrolments, credit/RPL, scholarship, student finance, curriculum management, timetabling, examinations, results, conferrals, certifications, and graduations for all students (vocational and higher education, international and domestic).
Working with a small team, they are accountable for driving key outcomes for the College including:
- improving application-to-enrolment conversion,
- new student retention to census and continuing student return rates,
- fee administration, overseeing HELP and minimising student debt,
- student enrolment and progression, ensuring students stay on track and complete,
- curriculum management for accredited and non-accredited curriculum,
- optimised space utilisation and occupancy through strategic timetabling,
- high-quality grading, completion, and conferral processes and
- full compliance with government reporting and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
Day to day work for the Head of Student Administration will include coordination of a busy administration cycle anchored on the delivery of three trimesters per year, liaising across every team to ensure deadlines are understood, monitored, and met. They will role model the Collarts values which include authenticity and inclusion and will represent the Collarts brand through every form of communication.

Key relationships include the heads of the sales and student support teams, ensuring a seamless customer journey from application through to later stage enrolment and completion.
This position is based at the Wellington Street campus in Collingwood with a requirement to be present and visible at the other campuses on occasion. The role will also have flexibility to work from home on an agreed schedule and may be required to travel interstate on occasion.
