About the role

We have a brilliant opportunity to join Bunnings in a newly created key senior leadership role – Head of Supply Chain Customer Fulfilment. This role reports to our General Manager Supply Chain and Logistics and is based at our National Support office in Burnley. As a key member of the Supply Chain and Logistics leadership team, this position responsible for the safety, financial performance, cultural and compliance performance of our Fulfilment Centres and last Mile deliveries for Bunnings.

This is an exciting role and will be coming into Bunnings at an exceptional time with great opportunities and growth ahead!

What's involved:

• Develop our strategies and business plans and the rollout of our fulfilment centre and last Mile strategy
• Big focus on health and safety performance and rolling out critical safety and risk programs to our teams
• Build, lead and develop a high performing team
• Develop and implement initiatives to drive to productivity of the Fulfilment Centres
• Develop and implement initiatives that drive the level of customer service delivered by our Fulfilment Centres

You’ll need:   

• You are degree qualified and bring with you a career of solid experience at a national distribution/fulfilment management level and more recently working in a senior leadership role
• You have led high performing diverse teams in fast paced environments ideally within retail, building or similar (focused on customer deliveries)
• This role will see you collaborating across all of our Supply Chain and other business functions within Bunnings and so exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills will help you succeed
• You have strong decision making capabilities, are commercial astute and bring with you a passion for Supply Chain/fulfilment/transport
• You are customer focused and ultimately you lead from the front when it comes to all things safety
