What you’ll do
This strategic leadership position will lead the Service Management, Technology Operations and resilience function to ensure the continuous availability, performance, and security of Tabcorp’s technology systems.
Leading a high-performing team comprising both Tabcorp and Partner resoruces, you'll drive operational excellence and implement measures for uninterrupted service delivery. You'll ensure seamless services through third-party providers, maintaining system availability and performance while striving for continual improvement and quality enhancement.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing third-party suppliers for data centre and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business needs and SLAs and developing resilience strategies to protect against disruptions and overseeing response and recovery efforts during crises.

This role requires regular on-call escalation management to support our “Always On” Operational environment including being on-call most Saturdays.
What you’ll bring
Extensive years of experience in large-scale ICT environments where you have provided expert Operational leadership across all aspects of the service management spectrum.
Significant experience managing operations in a managed service with a Tier 1 3rd partner.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in implementing IT plans, including backup, recovery, storage systems, and IT security management.
Proven expertise in leading Technology Operations, data center management, resilience planning, and vendor management.
Strong understanding of existing standards, agile practices, professional practices, industry-specific regulations, and regulatory bodies.
Demonstrated success in optimizing technology infrastructure for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Proficiency in IT service management frameworks and technology delivery governance.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and vendor assessment for external IT DR service providers.
Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies.
Ability to adapt to diverse stakeholder needs, communication styles, and expectations.
Extensive understanding of the Information and Technology industry, including trends and best practices.
Demonstrated experience in competitive, highly regulated and fast-paced industries.
