A fitness industry management position that ticks all the boxes.
- Develop and oversee a dedicated group of personal trainers to ensure the needs of a variety of stakeholders are met.
- Provide direction and leadership to the health and fitness staff, while working as part of a team responsible for the design and implementation of health and fitness programs within Fairfield City Leisure Centres.
- Assist the Recreation Planner to manage the Dry Recreation unit effectively and efficiently, supporting the objective of the branch and its plans and performance targets.
- Lead from the front, ensuring the great culture that has been built is continually strengthened.
ESSENTIAL:
- Significant experience in the fitness industry
- Experience in managing a large team of fitness professionals
- Minimum Certificate 4 in Fitness
- Registered with Aus Active (or willing to obtain)
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
- Please note that this role requires mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 at Fairfield City Council. All applicants must be vaccinated (and provide proof - cited vaccination certificate).
DESIRABLE:
- Formal tertiary qualifications in a related field i.e. Exercise Sports Science, Leisure Management etc.
- Experience in a multi facility environment
- Experience with WHS procedures
SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
- Permanent position, 76 hours per fortnight
- This position is a Grade 5, with a starting salary of $77,631 p.a.
- Flexible working hours are available.
- Penalty rates apply for weekend work
