They offer the full Steel Fabrication Services from project management, maintenance, drafting, painting and installation. Project range from medium-sized commercial through to large commercial and industrial.
About the role
As the Health and Safety Coordinator you will undertake a Senior Management level role that will be the direct point of contact for all health, safety and environmental matters for our clients FNQ sites. You ensure that all safety related responsibilities are carried out by all personal including site inspections and risk assessments.
This role is a hands on role based out of beautiful Cairns and will require a large volume of travel across Cairns, Townsville and throughout Regional QLD.
About you
You will be a passionate and proactive safety professional with exceptional relationship building skills to join the HR, WHS & QA Team.
- Enthusiastic and driven to foster a safe and healthy work environment
- Able to work confidently with individuals, teams and management
- Ability to negotiate, influence and implement change within the workplace
- Have well developed computer skills within Databases and Microsoft suite
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience working as a HSE Coordinator / HSE Advisor or similar
- Construction or manufacturing industry experience
- Qualifications equivalent to a Diploma or higher in WHS (Desirable)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Qualification
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Be willing to live in or relocate to Cairns, QLD and willing to undertake travel across FNQ & Regional QLD.
