Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to work on a major project for a high-profile mining client in a role based at their Perth CBD office. This opportunity is offered as an initial 12-month contract role. The project is focused on civil earthworks with scopes including areas such as roads, drainage and associated mine infrastructure.As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary project team, and will take on responsibilities such as: Providing direction to the civil design team. Preparing calculations and checking design drawings and models to ensure they align with applicable standards and specifications. Preparation of MTO’s for estimating purposes. Coordinating interfaces with the client side and establishing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Preparing study and design documentation, specifications and project deliverables. What we hope you'll bring to the role: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. Extensive experience working within the mining and infrastructure project environment, coupled with an understanding and experience in engineering design. Experience in preparing engineering calculations and checking design drawings and models.
