About the Role
We are looking for qualified and compassionate Health Care Workers to join our team. This role offers flexible shifts, with morning and evening options available to fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer respite care and support for families.
- Assist with medication management.
- Prepare meals and help with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and making beds.
- Support clients with shopping and transportation to medical appointments.
Essential Criteria:
- H.E.A.R.T Values: Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.
- Ability to start shifts as early as 6:00 AM.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Home & Community Care, or Individual Support.
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willingness to obtain them.
- Completion or progress towards the NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'.
- Evidence of immunisation, including annual flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
- Smart Phone with voicemail and internet access.
- Previous experience in the Aged Care and/or Disability sectors.
