Health & Injury Management Lead

CSL is undergoing extensive and positive change as we expand and grow. In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested $AUD2 billion over the last 4 years into Australia and continues to invest in substantial new manufacturing facilities to support CSL's global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facilities.
A position is available for a Health and Injury Management Lead where you will support all of our Australian sites (Corporate, R&D and Manufacturing) and you will lead a team of dedicated professionals and maintain best practice across a multi faceted and complex business.
CSL is Comcare self-insurer and you will support our organisations goals of meeting legislative requirements and performance standards.
As a member of the Australian EHS leadership team:

• Comply with the Comcare regulatory framework and bring an early intervention mindset across both work related and non-work related conditions
• Lead, mentor and develop your diverse team in best practice Health, early intervention and Injury management
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the broad enterprise strategy, culture and governance processes.
• Champion advocating EHS performance beyond compliance and play a leading role in developing the EHS strategies and plans
• Be part of our global wellbeing steering committee and lead roll out with partners across HR, Communications and Site Leaders

To be suitable for this position:

• Extensive experience with early intervention and an early resolution focus (work related and non-work-related conditions)
• Previous interaction with Comcare and a self-insured organisation
• People leadership experience
• Track record in implementing early intervention, Injury management and wellbeing initiatives
• Experience implementing on site first program, health surveillance, pre-employment processes and consulting on health programs
• Liaise with critical partners both internally (HR, Site Leadership, Business Leaders) and externally (Health Care Providers, regulators)
• Tertiary qualifications from Health, Science or related field
