Guided by values centered on innovation, empowerment, and community pride, they seek a dynamic and experienced Test and Environment Manager to join their team.
Position Purpose:
The Position Purpose is to oversee the successful delivery of testing components and deliverables within a large ERP Program at a local council. This involves planning and managing environments and releases for the program, as well as overseeing various types of testing such as functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Manager:
• Develop effective test strategies, plans, and reports aligned with program schedules.
• Plan, deploy, and manage testing efforts across all workstreams.
• Review and analyze functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on test strategies and plans.
• Design and build scalable automated test frameworks.
• Manage functional, non-functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Generate test reports for continuous improvements.
Deliverables Include:
• End-to-End Test Strategy
• Test Plans for each module and phase
• Defect Management and Reports
• Test Execution and Summary Reports
• Test Closure Report
• Release Notes
Environment Manager:
• Collaborate with development and testing teams on environment needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive environment plans.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment issues.
• Manage version control of environment configurations.
• Maintain documentation for environment setups and dependencies.
• Implement change management processes for environment changes.
• Coordinate release activities and timelines across teams.
Deliverables Include:
• Environment Strategy and Plan
• Release Plan with timelines and milestones
Qualifications:
• Experience in managing testing and Environments for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in test automation and Environment management tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Relevant certifications and knowledge of ERP systems are advantageous.
