About us:

The Western Parkland City is served by the Councils of the Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Penrith and Wollondilly. These eight Councils have committed to working collaboratively for our region through the formation of a partnership called The Parks.

About the role:

The Health Alliance Steering Committee is now seeking a temporary full-time Program Manager for up to 12 months (possible extension) to provide leadership, coordination and program management support for the Western Sydney Health Alliance. Projects will address themes such as improving access to health and wellbeing services, liveability and connections, and healthy lifestyles. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and contribute positively to project teams.
  • Proficiency in managing complex health-related projects, including planning, contractor management, financial monitoring, and project evaluation and reporting, alongside excellent written and oral communication skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and other relevant software applications, coupled with the ability to work flexibly and travel to the eight councils within the Western Parkland City, as required for stakeholder engagement and project oversight.
