Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Community Health Centre Office of the area-wide Population Health Promotion Team.
You will be working alongside Health Promotion Officers from a diverse range of program areas, from Childbirth and Early Parenting, Early Years, School Years and Healthy Ageing to Alcohol Harm Reduction, Tobacco Control and Healthy Built Environments.
What you'll be doing
This role involves cultivating parternships, advocating for primary prevention, leading and supporting community participation and implementing and evaluating gambling and domestic violence initiatives across Northern Sydney.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrate these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health or other behavioural health sciences.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion strategies that address Active Living and Healthy Ageing.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in advocating for healthy built environments that support Active Living and Healthy Ageing.
- Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently when required but with direction from and accountability to a manager or project coordinator.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including negotiation, advocacy, presentation and report writing skills.
