Key Responsibilities:
- Promote safety, health, and Wellbeing initiatives, fostering a culture of compliance and best practices.
- Ensure site compliance with national audit tools, safety management systems, and legislative requirements.
- Implement risk management procedures, identifying, assessing, and controlling risks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proactively manage manual handling hazards through risk assessments and training programs.
- Support incident reporting and investigation processes, promoting early intervention and recovery at work strategies.
- Develop and execute safety business plans aligned with national direction while addressing local risk profiles and opportunities.
- Lead wellbeing initiatives, fostering a supportive environment for team members.
- Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online reporting systems.
