Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the ANZ & South Pacific region.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on health and safety matters.
- Lead incident investigations, analyse root causes, and develop preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety into business operations and projects.
- Deliver health and safety training programs and initiatives to enhance awareness and competence.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management that are in line
with the role's scope and purpose. * Act as a point of contact for health and safety inquiries and support regional health and safety committees.
The Successful ApplicantRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar health and safety role within a multinational organisation.
- Strong knowledge of ANZ health and safety regulations and standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing health and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certified Health and Safety Professional (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) preferred.
- Google Suite Experience preferred
- Worker's compensation and RTW experience required
- Ability to travel occasionally within the ANZ region as required.
