What you'll be doingThe vision for Sydney Children Hospital Network (SCHN) is ‘To be the world leading health service for children and young people’. SCHN is committed to helping children and young people live their best lives.The HSW Project Co-Ordinator undertakes a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established project plans and objectives, and will support the Prevention and Education Lead and Mental Health & Wellbeing Lead in developing and implementing a suite of Health Safety and Wellbeing training and educational programs that build workforce capability and support employee engagement to achieve the SCHN HSW strategic priorities.The position will lead the co-ordination of range of programs concurrently across the Health Safety and Wellbeing function including but not limited to building HSW leadership capabilities, manual handling programs, violence prevention and management, workplace mental health and Wellbeing and mental health first aid.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience in project co-ordination and associated skills
  • Proven experience in their understanding and navigating within NSW Health.
  • Demonstrated experience of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Current drivers’ licence (with ability and willingness to travel throughout SCHN, consistent with the demands of the position and customer needs).
