Aside for being responsible for the continual improvement of Aurecon’s group HSE Management System. Your role will include:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Group HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Review and continuously improve the HSE management system based on emerging trends, legislative changes, and industry standards.
- Leading and being responsible for the performance of a small team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and enhance HSE awareness across the organisation.
- Provide HSE guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors, promoting a proactive approach to HSE matters.
- Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations, emerging industry trends, and technological advancements, applying this knowledge to improve the HSE management system.
- Maintain certifications to ISO 45001 OHS Management Systems and 14001 Environmental Management Systems, including preparation of audit evidence and coordinating audit.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
- Experience successfully leading teams or projects would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and currency in HSE systems and documentation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Up to date with contemporary approaches to Health & Safety management.
- Lead Auditor qualification and experience in audits.
- Training or experience in Human and Organisational Performance Standards (HOPS) in relation to Safety Management.
- Demonstrated experience transforming management systems to improve efficiency.
