Job description

Currently seeking a Handyman to service Adelaide's Southern Metro Region

Programmed Care is a community Nursing and home support provider. We are currently seeking to engage the services of a handyman to assist our clients in Adelaide's Southern Metro suburbs with home maintenance jobs.

The Role will consist of the following tasks:

  • Cleaning outside windows (single storey only)
  • Gutter Clearing
  • Lawn Mowing (only if client has a lawnmower)
  • changing light bulbs
  • changing smoke alarm batteries


Job numbers and length will vary throughout the year. This arrangement would ideally suit an individual looking to supplement an existing client base. You must be an ABN registered business with own equipment and insurances.

You will need to provide the following documentation

  • Current Police Check - completed within last 12 months
  • Working with Children Check
  • 2 x professional references from previous supervisors or managers
  • ABN Registered Number as well as Income Protection and Public Liability Insurance - essential
  • Your own car, Car Registration and Car Insurance
  • Covid Vaccinations X3


And have the following background and skills:

  • Minimum 12 months experience
  • Customer focused approach
  • Compassion and patience
  • Good time management skills
  • Access to a personal computer/email/printer
