Our client is looking for an experienced IT Service Management specialist to ensure the fully outsourced Infrastructure and Cloud environment within their organisation is performing and continually updated to ensure the best and most efficient service is being delivered for the organisation.
Additionally, the specialist will provide expert consultancy to non-technical business application owners, assisting them with cloud infrastructure decisions.
It is essential you are ITIL certified, with applied experience within a role working extensively with vendors, associated contracts and governance as well as demonstrated experience procuring services and hardware in line with a formalised procurement process with use of a procurement management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure IT service management aligns with industry best practices like ITIL, maintaining maturity and strategic alignment with organisational objectives.
- Oversee implementation and management of IT service processes by outsourced leaders, ensuring stakeholder understanding and adherence.
- Develop and lead a roadmap for ongoing enhancement of IT service management, aligning with business change governance.
- Regularly assess process maturity and effectiveness through audits and governance forums.
- Seek feedback from leaders and staff to identify improvement opportunities, ensuring cohesive teamwork and effective supplier management.
- ITIL Certified and experience within a relevant role
- Certification in relevant Service Management practices (e.g. ITIL, SIAM) at Foundation level
- Proficient in recent trends within IT service management and the latest industry-standard methods.
- Comprehensive grasp of optimal ServiceNow setup for ITSM and its accompanying Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
- Familiarity with modern technology project management techniques. Fundamental capability in budgeting and financial management.
- Project Management experience highly desirable.
