About the Role
Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, confident and experienced Healthcare -Account Managerto join our Medical team in a fulltime position. This role is based in Sydney, NSW and will predominately manage accounts in NSW and QLD. This role reports directly to the Medical Sales Manager and requires some interstate and regional travel.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Embody the ‘Yes We Can’ ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities.
- Adapt, promote and encourage a Safety-First approach.
- Grow the medical business in-line with KPI’s and budgets.
- Manage existing multi-site accounts whilst exploring new opportunities.
- Develop and grow accounts within different healthcare markets including Aged Care, Hospitals, Vets and General Practitioners in NSW and QLD.
- Cold calling potential new accounts and proactive lead generation.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to Medical Sales Manager on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with our internal and external Business Development Managers.
- Conduct regular account reviews highlighting past performance and future opportunities.
- Effective and efficient management of customer retention for commercial accounts
- Involvement with executing new contractual supply agreements and tender submissions.
- Deal with customer product queries whilst being pro-active and responsive to the needs of our existing customer base.
- Liaise with the Medical Sales Manager and Branch Managers on all unresolved and dissatisfied account issues.
- Ensure all customer records are regularly and accurately maintained.
- Ensure compliance with TGA requirements.
- Travel to metro and regional Supagas branches for reasons including servicing, audits and training.
- Various other tasks as required from time to time.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role within healthcare or relevant industry knowledge.
- Post secondary degree (science/business) ideal but not essential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including written and verbal.
- Organized, ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in an effective and timely manner.
- Commercially savvy and professionally presented.
- The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
- As a national essential service provider, servicing vulnerable industries which include health and aged care, Supagas requires all new employees to be full vaccinated against COVID-19, successful candidates will be required to provide an ‘Immunisation History Statement’ demonstrating full COVID-19 vaccination from the Australian Government.
