Richmond Tweed Regional Library (RTRL) is dedicated to providing exceptional library services to our community. With a commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, we strive to meet the diverse needs of our patrons through innovative programs and initiatives.
We are currently seeking a casual Mobile Library Assistant to assist in delivering our high-quality library services to our patrons. Working within the Richmond Tweed Regional Library (RTRL), your main objective will be to assist in maintaining and providing access to library collections through our Mobile Library service.

What we trust you to deliver 
  • Communicate effectively with library patrons to understand and meet their information needs. 
  • Process, sort, file, and handle library materials with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Utilise automated information systems, databases, and other technology for various processing and service tasks.  
  • Ensure service and business targets are met through efficient and effective workflow management.  
What you'll need to be successful
  • A current HC Licence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of people.  
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Great time management skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively alone, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
