Heavy Commercial Vehicle Workshop Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Heavy Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Department. Based in Tully, in a well equipped facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of an extensive fleet of modern Prime Movers, Refrigerated Trailers and Ancillary Equipment.

The successful applicant will hold the following attributes:

• Experience in frontline supervision of a multi-trade cross-functional team within a fast paced Heavy Commercial environment.
• A Heavy Commercial Vehicle mechanical qualification (or similar)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a solid drive to lead by example.
• The ability to ensure compliance to NHVAS requirements while meeting WHS regulations.
• Experience working on Kenworth and Isuzu Trucks; Cummins and Caterpillar Engines; FTE Trailers; BPW and Meritor Axles as well as Thermoking and Carrier Fridge Motors.
• Ability to handle a high volume of in-coming work and adapt to the demands of an ever-changing confliction of priorities.
