The Sacca Heavy Repairs crew are looking for a few good teammates to join us.
Our Mackay workshop is in high demand from Tier 1 mining clients, and we’re looking to recruit good people to assist us, open roles are Heavy Diesel Fitters. Reporting to our Workshop Manager, the successful applicants will complete maintenance repairs and rebuilds on Liebherr, CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu mining equipment.
Role requirements:
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
- High standard of work quality at all times
- Demonstrated understanding of diagnostics, problem solving and fault finding on various OEM equipment
- Hardworking approach – reliable and able to work effectively when unsupervised
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Able to supply clean D&A upon request
- Must be an Australian resident
Applicants to provide:
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience – essential
- Australian Mechanical Trade Certificate – essential
- Current drivers’ licence – essential
- Beneficial tickets, such as WAH, EWP, forklift – preferred
