Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a Territory-owned civil/road construction business. This contract is remote work, commencing in April until December 2023. You would be responsible for maintaining fleet vehicles and machinery for the crew, including graders, excavators, and semi-trucks.

This role would be suitable to an individual with previous experience working on stations, or within remote construction and quarry projects. Accommodation and shared meal amenities will be provided on site.

The successful Candidate will ideally have:

• Minimum Certificate IV in relevant training
• Minimum 2-3 years’ demonstrated experience (post trade experience)
• C Class Manual Drivers licence (HR is desirable)
• White Card

Shortlisted candidates must be able to complete a full pre-employment medical including functional capacity assessment and drug and alcohol screening.
