Form of workAustralian Transit Group (ATG) - WA's largest privately owned Bus company is seeking an experienced mechanic who are self-motivated, clear communicators, career driven and experienced in bus maintenance.
The position will be based on a 38 working week and will service our Darwin Operation
ATG’s fleet consists of buses and coaches with the capacity of between 13 seats up to 53 seats.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Carry out routine vehicle services
- Carry out vehicle repairs as required
- General workshop duties
- Services or repairs to vehicles that has been detected during routine inspections
- Repairs and maintenance of workshop equipment
- Ensure all tools and equipment that are used are safe
- Observe and maintain a high level of safety at all times
- Report non-conformances and assist in resolution
- Assist with or carry out in-process and final inspection as needed
Requirements:
- Work independently, as well as part of a team
- Trade qualification
- Basic online technology skills for use of electronic job card systems desirable or willing to learn
- Fault finding and electronic diagnostic skills
- Current C-class licence essential
- MR/HR Licence advantageous or willing to learn
- A/C qualification would be desirable
- High level of organisational skills and able to prioritise
- Ability to pass and complete Alcohol and other Drug screening
- Ability to work overtime or on-call hours desirable
