Job Summary
An organization or company needs a competent Business Development Manager (BDM) who will expand the horizons of the company when it comes to its financial growth through improving sales and acquiring a sensible rapport with clients. Additionally, this role requires various proficient business skills such as negotiation, management in different sectors, and planning to obtain an effective sales strategy.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Arrange business meeting with potential clients
- Proactively develop and implement business strategies to increase client base and enhance service offerings.
- Generating reports of sales and revenue
- Creating a strategy that would benefit the company with regards to gaining financially and reaching the maximum satisfaction of our client/customer.
- Work closely with our team on expanding the business and keeping informed of new marketing trends and initiatives
- Collaborating with compliance officer to ensure company compliance
- Conducting intensive research to distinguish the current needs of our clients.
- Retaining our new and existing client by building a long-term relationship with them.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and keep up with industry trends and effective practices.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to exhibit our products/services and establish important partnerships.
- Develops standard processes to maximize business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Other tasks that may be required on a need basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Business Development Manager (BDM) must acquire a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or in any relevant field of business.
- Must have at least 2 years of substantial experience about National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Guidelines and service delivery.
- Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or community engagement roles within the NDIS and Aged Care support services sector.
- Must have broad knowledge about the market, business strategy, planning, and other significant methods in business conditions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important in this role to be able to communicate well with clients.
- In-depth knowledge and experience about the fundamentals of business are essential for the BDM to handle complex situations and projects, especially when having a rational discussion with the clients.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Must have the capability of closing an agreement with a client.
