The current list of projects are predominantly being delivered in rural and remote regions of Australia.
The potential to be a part of the largest fibre network build across Australia lies within this opportunity. The Role Genus Services are seeking expressions of interest for Heavy Plant Operators to join our team. The ability to operate vehicles/plant such as Caterpillar dozers (D7, D9, D10), excavators (1.7T to 35T), skid steers & trucks.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Plant Operator will be responsible for: Project delivery in the use of plant equipment in rural and remote locations. Driving vehicles and operating plant machinery, maintain relevant licences/qualifications, and assist with maintenance of machinery. Installation of fibre optic networks utilising dozer ploughing techniques.
Installation of pit and pipe networks as well as long haul fibre support. Trenching, run cable and assist in other duties as required. Essential Requirements/Skills/Qualifications Excavator Operator Qualification Dozer Operator Qualification Truck Licence (HC preferred) WHS White Card
