Heavy Vehicle Mechanic & Plant Mechanic

Infrastructure People are partnering with a highly reputable, family-owned company who specialise in quarry operations, resource recycling, landfills, waste treatment, and transport and logistics, with operations across NSW, ACT, Victoria and Queensland. 

They are seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and a Plant Mechanic (Field Service Technician) to join their new workshop in Western Sydney.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Carrying out on and offsite diagnosis, repairs, routine inspection and servicing of equipment, machinery and trucks. 
• Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively
• Apply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environment.
• As a representative of the company, you will be the company's eyes and ears and be able to spot and report on emerging problems with the machines you attend for preventative maintenance and servicing.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Mechanically Trade Qualified
• Experience in dealing with diagnosis, servicing and repairs of CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO and HYUNDAI OR HV mechanical experience. 
• A strong service background with proven experience
• Current Australian MR minimum drivers licence (or able to obtain)
• Highly developed communication skills
• Self-motivated and team orientated
• Proven ability to work unsupervised with a track record of working safely
• Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical
